Grass Valley Graphics Group to Host Gala Reception for Lori Belilove & Company on May 5th at Center for the Arts |
Grass Valley, April 12, 2005 -- Heidelberg Editions International has announced a gala reception with music, champagne and hors d'oevres, for Lori Belilove & Company, the resident dance company of the Isadora Duncan Foundation for Contemporary Dance of New York City, to be held on Thursday, May 5th, at 8:30 p.m., in the Van Gogh Room of the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley, California.
The reception will immediately follow the Isadora Duncan Festival's May 5th Lecture and Demonstration, in which Lori Belilove and members of the Company, as well as longtime Company photographer Margaretta K. Mitchell of Berkeley, California, will introduce the work of Isadora Duncan as carried forward by Belilove & Company.
During the reception, Mitchell will share her photographic portfolio of the history of the dance company.
The reception will take place amidst the beautiful paintings, sculpture and photographs comprising the fine art exhibit, Artistic Movement, a collaboration between Margaretta Mitchell and the Grass Valley Graphics Group to honor the Isadora Duncan Dance Festival and Lori Belilove & Company. Many of the works will be for sale with proceeds to benefit the Center for the Arts.
The reception will be open to the public.
