Come join E.J. Gold for his very favorite fine artform, Sculpture. Gold has enjoyed sculpture over the last four decades, having studied at Otis Art Institute with Russell Cangialosi and Renzo Fenci.
Some of Gold's sculpture can been seen by clicking here.
In this workshop, Gold will share clay, some of which is 100 years old, that was passed on to him by his sculpture teacher, Renzo Fenci, and that he has added to over the years.
The workshop runs from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 21 - 23rd.
Supplies may be purchased at the workshop for $100, for everything you need, including a sculpture tool kit, Roma Plastilina grey-green clay #2 and a handmade armature with base. You may keep all the supplies and tools.

Asked for a comment on the workshop, Gold said, "I paid thousands for this skill, and it was worth every penny. With sculpture,
I was able to master drawing -- because I learned to see not only 'the other
side' of what I'm drawing or painting, but what's actually inside it, the
essential masses and reflected light that make up an object's artistic
identity."
The cost of the workshop is $275.00. Although the cost does not cover
lodging and meals, we can help with economical individual or group
accommodations. If you are traveling by plane,
national flights arrive at the Sacramento airport; international flights
are routed through San Francisco.
